Payment and Fees

I am not currently paneled with any insurance companies. The out-of-pocket cost of sessions is $120. I accept personal checks and payment via IvyPay, a HIPAA-secure payment app, where you can use a credit or debit card, or HSA or FSA to pay for your sessions.

I can walk you through the process of finding out if your insurance reimburses out-of-network costs, and if they do, I can provide you with the paperwork necessary for you to submit an out-of-network reimbursement claim to your insurance company.

Here are some questions you can ask your insurance company. First call the number on the back of your card-there might be a separate number for “Behavioral Health.”

• Do I have coverage for out-of-network mental health outpatient visits?
• What is my deductible and has it been met?
• What percentage of therapy service fees are covered? Please ask about the following CPT codes: individual therapy 90834
• How many visits are covered in a calendar year?
• Do you cover telehealth visits?
• Can you send me the form to submit an out of network claim, and the address to mail it back to?
